I'm so late on this, but Happy New Year! I hope the new year is treating everyone well- it sure has been good to me so far :)

Anyways, i've missed out on so much since i've been gone for quite a little while now since my last post was in November *sigh*
I've had an overwhelming courseload for the past couple of months since i'm in my final year of Business School and it's basically crunch time, trying to get all i need done for graduation in the summer.

I do enjoy blogging and i love my blog, however there are times where it becomes quite difficult to maintain the blog with school and my social life. It is the new year and i decided to review the direction i'd like to take the blog- adding new features to spice things up. I want the blog to be more exciting and a more enjoyable read for readers out there. Therefore, over the next couple of weeks i'll be tweaking and adding new updates and information as to the upcoming changes i'll be making to the blog. I hope my dedicated followers will continue to enjoy my blog, as well as new followers.

My Experience

Wearing MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC35 in the summer

I purchased this foundation around christmas of 2010 when i finally got matched correctly. A few years prior, i was in Toronto and visited a mac store where the makeup artist attempted to match me but failed to do so with a decent shade. I didn't like the shade because it didn't match my skintone properly and i wasn't about to pay for that. So anyways, right before christmas last year i was visiting the mall and decided to try and get matched again. I was out of my Clinique foundation and wanted to try mac since i've heard such good things about mac for years. I was matched and the finish was nearly flawless- i loved it! However, after using this foundation for a few days it started to irritate my skin and left my face with small little pimples. Now i've never had acne so i know it's not that- it was some sortof allergic reaction. I did stop using it until my face cleared up and gave it another shot to see if it really was the mac foundation--- it was. As much as i like the flawless finish it gave my face, i could not sacrifice a flawless finish if it was going to irritate and ruin my face. Sadly, i had to stop using it.

Verdict
The Mac studio fix fluid foundation is a nice foundation apart from irritating my skin. It has a thick consistency (not too thick and not watery) that is easy to apply with a foundation brush. I didn't really have any issues with the foundation streaking and it did not dry too fast either. I would classify this foundation as full coverage in my opinion, or medium to buildable. It is definitely a buildable coverage foundation. I don't wear concealer when i use this foundation; it covers flaws so easily without too much product. Other than the irritation on my skin, the other thing i didn't like about this foundation was the fact that it made my face very pale in some photos taken with a flash because of the spf in the formulation.

Re-purchase? No

Their Claim: The smart makeup. Liquid foundation. Provides moisture and absorbs oil when and where needed with adjustable coverage that is silky upon application. Oil-free formula provides natural skin finish. Apply starting in center of face and blend outward with fingertips. Can be worn in the immediate eye area. For seamless look, dampen fingertips and blend edges. Moderate coverage. Balances combination skin, Long wearing.

Suitable for: Very Dry to Dry, Dry Combination, and Oily Skin *I'm Dry to Normal

My Experience

Wearing Clinique Superbalanced (09 Sand)

** I've used this foundation for over a year**

This used to be my favourite foundation, up until last year. The first time i tried Clinique about 8 years ago in the UK. I thought it was an amazing product, but i didn't purchase it when i came back to Canada because at the time i did not wear foundation. When i started wearing foundation, i looked all over to try and get a foundation that matched my skintone; i think that was the hardest part. Foundations were either too light or too dark for me, it was very disappointing. I didn't think Clinique was available here, until i went to the mall one year and saw their kiosk in The Bay. I was so excited, i immediately went over to get matched- and they actually had a shade for me! A shade that matched me; it wasn't to light or too dark; it wasn't too punk or too yellow; it was just right.

The foundation itself is a nice consistency that is medium coverage but buildable. It's easy to apply with either your fingers, a sponge or a foundation brush; I've tried all three and prefer using a foundation brush. I find that this foundation is long lasting, stays put, and leaves me looking flawless. This does not dry out my skin, nor does it irritate my sensitive skin. I've fallen asleep with it on, and it never once gave me pimples or breakouts. The only thing i would change about this foundation is to add a pump instead of pouring the foundation out of the bottle. It's not super thick but it's not runny either, so when it's finishing i have to spend a bit more time trying to get the foundation out of the bottle. This isn't a major problem for me, because what i do is leave the foundation upside down so it's easier to get to.

Verdict

Re-purchase? Yes!

This has been a favourite foundation of mines. The only reason why i stopped using this foundation was to try other foundations to see if they are any better. I bought MAC studio fix fluid foundation because i heard so many good things about MAC Cosmetics, which i'll be doing a review on soon.

What's Buzzing in November

This month i'll be blogging more often with product reviews, more swatches, FOTD, VOTD, and more addition to the blog *yeaaaaah!*
I plan on posting even more often this month than what i did last month. There was so much going on that i hardly had any time to blog about anything. I had family visiting, illness to cope with, exams and assignments at school-- It's been hectic to say the least. But this month i'm in such a happier mood and feeling more as ease with a bit more time to spare-- at least i do for now but hoping it'll remain this way *hehehe*. So I've been thinking of what changes to make to the blog to keep it fresh and spice it up a bit. I plan on adding new features such as the FOTD and VOTD posts. We'll see where it goes; if it seems to work then i'll definitely do more of those posts.

Likes: I really like the Extreme Blue, but haven't been able to get the other colours to work for me

Extreme Gold, Extreme Blue, Extreme Silver

My Experience

** I've had these liners for about 6 months**

Of the three colours, my favourite is the Extreme Blue. It's such a pretty vibrant colour that brightens up so many looks. However, the Gold and Silver haven't worked out so well for me so far. I've tried a few times but i just don't like the way they look so i stick with wearing the Blue; especially when i'm feeling for a pop of colour. The best way i like to wear the blue is when i'm wearing a neutral or light eye shadow, then i apply this liner and BAM! My eyes pop and look amazing *yeaaaaaaah!*

Verdict

The bright colours seem to work better for me. Extreme Blue is great when i need a pop of colour but not over dramatic. It's easy to apply, and i can go for very thin lines or thicker lines with more application. This is my favourite liquid liner ever. They are very affordable and of such good quality. Why pay more when NYX does the same job?
A word of caution: Please avoid getting these liners in your eyes because they burn like a MOTHA MOTHA!

Re-purchase? I would re-purchase Extreme Blue, and I will definitely try the other bright colours in this line, but i wouldn't try the gold or silver again.

{Swatches} Manly 120 Palette

I've had this palette for a few years now, and i think doing a review is well overdue. As you can see there is visible wear and tear to the palette; although i haven't used the shadows all that much. It fell from me right before i took this picture, so you can see that some of the shadows broke up a little-- the reason for the palette being a little messy. This is the largest palette i have, and go straight for it most of the time when i decide to wear makeup. I did say that i would do a review, and dont worry because i will soon after i complete an upcoming exam *yeaaah* So for now, enjoy the swatches (^-^)

I've heard of E.L.F for years now but never actually made an order with them until now. I felt it was time i give them a try and see how well their products work for me. I live in Canada so i wasn't sure if it'd be worth it to order the products and pay $14.95 for shipping and also risk the chance of being charge customs fees. But last week ELF was having a promotional sale, where they were only charging $1.98 for shipping in the U.S. With this promotion, i still had to pay $4.97 shipping to Canada, but that's much better than the original $14.95 fee.

It took a bit over one week to get my package, which i'm pretty excited about. As well i did not get charged any customs fees *woot woot*

{Review} Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner

** I've been using this toner since last year along with the Laneige Multi Cleanser**

Their Claim: Moisturizing skin refiner with purifying and softening effect for clear skin. Removes dried keratin and purifies the skin for clear and transparent skin. Bio Dusali, extracted from fermented seaweed with strong energy of life, supplies energy to the skin and promotes keratin turnover, while the Hyacinth extracts purify the skin from heavy metal, smog, and other harmful materials to leave the skin moist and transparent. Exfoliating enzymes gently remove the dead skin cells with less irritation. Skin-nourishing royal jelly extracts and sugar cane extracts refine dry and rough skin for moist and healthy skin.

My experience: What can i say about this toner? Where do i start! I love this toner. It truly is moisturizing and gentle enough to not irritate my sensitive skin. It comes in such a cute bottle that looks so sleek and stylish; not overly dressed up, but rather simple and chic. It's a good size bottle (200ml) which lasts a long time, as little goes a long way. (I've used a bottle for well over 6 months and still there's a lot left).

As for the smell, It's light and very pleasant. I can't pinpoint what it smells like, but it's a very light scent. I do not smell or feel any alcohol in this product which is really awesome for me.
I use this just as i would any toner/skin refiner. I dab some on a cotton pad and gentle cleanse my face with it. After i'm done my face is left feeling moisturized, soft and clean. This is by far the best toner/skin refiner i've used so far. I love almost everything about it; except the fact that it's not available locally, and that it's a bit expensive. Other than that, i have no complaints.

Verdict: The Laneige Moisture Power Essential Skin Refiner is a great buy. It does exactly what it says it will. It cleans my face very well, and leaves it soft and moisturized NOT irritated. I have re-purchased, and will continue to do so.

Favourite Perfume?

I used to be a big perfume collector when i was younger but after having a teacher who was allegeric to perfumes, i couldn't wear them anymore; eventually, i just stopped wearing them *sad face*. Now i'm getting back into wearing them, only thing now is that i have only a few in my collection. It's been a long time since i've bought perfume and i really want to get back into starting my collection again. That is why i want to know what your favourite perfumes are! When i was younger i remember my aunt bought me a bottle of White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor and i was sooo in love with this perfume. But now i don't really have a favourite... My experience: I absolutely love the multi cleanser. It has a pleasant citric scent, that is quite refreshing in the morning. The first time i used it i was very suprised at the fact that it really does remove makeup! It has these tiny little exfoliating particles that feels really nice on the skin; it does not irritate my sensitive skin. And not only does it remove makeup, but it's also very cleansing and moisturizing-- it does not leave my face feeling dry after. My face just feels soft, i feel awake, my skin appears to be glowing everytime i use it (or maybe it's my imagination lol).
Verdict: The Laneige Multi Cleanser is everything i want and need in a cleanser; it is worth every penny! I would re-purchase this over and over again without hesitation!

Day 04: Foundation

If i had to choose a favourite foundation it'd have to be between the Clinique superbalanced makeup and MAC studio Fix Fluid SPF 15. I've been using the Clinique foundation for a few years and have only recently started using the MAC. I had tried in the past to get matched with MAC but they couldn't find a suitable match so i went with Clinique at the time and actually really liked it. I had no problems with Clinique so i stuck with it.. until recently when my mom and i stopped by a MAC counter and i just asked if they could match me and they DID! I was really excited because i've always heard good things about MAC.

I really like the MAC foundation; i love the overall finish it gives, however, it's causing some kind of reaction to my face. I notice i get these tiny bumps on my face that i`ve never had before. I've never had this problem with Clinique and i've even slept with it on my face. When i wear the MAC i wash my face as soon as i get home and i still get little tiny bumps all over my face. Also i only wear foundation about once a week. I was told to use a really good primer which will prevent the foundation from reacting to my skin this way but i don`t know yet. I will look into it and let you guys know if it works or not. If it doesn't work, i'll be going back to my trusted Clinique foundation.

So a few months ago i came across these Disco ball crystal platform pumps by Gianmarco Lorenzi and i just stared at them in awe for a minute. They are so sparkly and sexy! I would love to grab a pair, but they cost around USD $2,795! I think i'll stick to admiring them in these photographs for now. I'm putting them on my "Super Wish List". {Review} Wet n Wild Lipstick 505A

Colours: tested 505A (Light Berry Frost)

Their Claim: enriched with conditioning ingredients of Vitamins A & E and Aloe Vera for moist-looking lips.
Likes: the colour is really nice ^-^
Dislikes: the smell, sticky feeling, not moisturizing.

My Experience: I've always been more of a lip gloss person but i wanted to venture more into the lipstick world. I wanted to try different brands especially lines that are more affordable. This is why i chose to try the Wet n Wild brand. Upon opening the lipstick the first thing i noticed was the smell. I wouldn't say it smells bad, but it didn't smell good either. Secondly, on application i didn't feel this lipstick had a silk finish and it was not moisturizing enough. I have to apply my lip balm before wearing this lipstick to prevent it from drying my lips. The only thing i liked was the colour. It is such nice colour-- i really like how cute it is .^-^. This is the only reason why it got a 2.5/5 rating.

My Verdict: I think the colour is really nice but it's not very moisturizing and i don't like the smell of this lipstick.
Re-Purchase: I would only consider repurchasing if i can't find this colour in a more moisturizing lipstick line.

Dislikes: Gets a bit drying after awhile for me, due to the alcohol in it. Alcohol smell.

My Experience: I first tried this product quite a number of years ago when i bought it from an avon catalog. I wasn't sure if it would work for me but it did. When i applied it, it gave me light coverage (which is enough for me) and left my face glowy. Sometimes i apply it with my fingers or foundation brush. I usually wear this product alone during the summer months when it's hot instead of applying foundation. It's a liquid consistency, which blends well and absorbs easily into the skin. However, i found this to be a bit drying on my face especially during the winter months. I believe this is due to the alcohol in it. Overall i would not repurchase.

Lately i've been overloaded with course work and it's so hard not to stress. I had to complete four assignments today which consisted of Case Analysis of firms, and an essay on globalization and public policies (if you haven't guessed by now i'm in Business School). I have to admit that this is mostly my own fault since i waited last minutes to submit my assignments. I find that i haven't been paying as much attention to my course work as i should be and i know this needs to change now. Anywho, i don't know how i managed to get all this work done in 24 hours but i did it! I haven't slept yet so im pretty tired but just had to make a post letting you guys know what's been going on. Their Claim: Containing rice sake, peach extract rich in vitamins A and C, and silica powder, this soft essence minimizes shine and the appearance of pores.
FYI: The Skin Food brand is a South Korean brand that was established since 1957. It is a very popular line in South Korean and worldwide.

Easy to use pump to dispense serum without the mess.

Likes: Smells yummy, easy to use pump and absorbs easily.
Dislikes: Not very moisturizing for me.
Suggestion(s): For oily skin type or those having issues with large pores.

My Experience: I initially purchased this item back in August 2010 after hearing so many raves about it. Since i needed to start a skin care routine i decide to give this product a try. I was really excited when it arrived in the mail, and i couldnt wait to try it on my face *hehehe*.
I really like the cute packaging and easy to use pump, and also the yummy smell of the serum. The serum is a good consistency, not runny but not too thick. It's easy to spread and absorbs fast. It also has a bit of shimmer in the product but it's not overpowering.

Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum: Consistency is not runny nor too thick.

Sounds like a great product right? However, i felt this product did not moisturize my skin enough for me. Then again, it's intended to be used prior to moisturizer so it's not necessarily for moisturizing on its own. It's suppose to minimize your pores and shine for better looking skin. I don't think this product was for me because i don't have much concerns with pores and i believe this product is more for oily skin -- i have normal skin (normal to dry in winter). Better luck next time for me *sobs a little*

Taking Care Of My Skin

I'm a twenty-something year old woman who has never had a skin care routine. I never had any serious skin care issues like acne, so perhaps that is why i never decided to really take good care of my skin.

However, late last year i noticed that the pressures of school was taking its toll-- on my face. I started having pimples, here and there and it was evident that it was caused by stress. It wasn't that bad that i was getting these pimples, it was the fact that my skin scars easily, so the pimples left marks where the pimples once were. It was then that i decided i need to start taking care of my skin; especially since i'm getting older and it is better to prevent a problem than trying to cure it after it occurs. So i did a lot of researching and was overwhelmed with information and skin care lines-- i didn't know what to use or even where to start.

I was introduced to a few skin care lines, and purchased a few products from each line. Some products i really like, while others did not work well for me at all.
However, i must say that i have finally found a skin care routine that has been working great for me so far.
I will be reviewing these products in the upcoming days and weeks.

What a way to start the new year!

Just a few minutes ago, i was sitting in my room browsing the internet and warming up a slice of pizza to munch on when suddenly i heard our Carbon Monoxide alarm go off. I wasn't sure what it was at first since this is the first time i've heard it go off since we moved here last year. It kept saying "Carbon Moxide..." over and over again. I totally freaked out and grabbed my winter coat, and called the Police Department to let them know what's going on.

They told us to wait outside for the Fire Department to get to our house. We had to wait outside in the cold feeling scared and unsure of what's really going on. It didn't take too long for them to get here and check out the house.

They concluded that there's no Carbon Monoxide in the house and the alarm might just need cleaning, although the alarm battery replacement date is every seven-years. I'm relieved at this point that we're okay, but they said if it goes off again to give them a call. I really hope it doesn't go off again & that we'll be okay. What a way to start off the new year eh?

I also wanted to make a note that today is the one year anniversary of this blog. I'm happy to say that i've been blogging for a year and although i had many hiatus, i believe that i have learnt a lot & have become better at blogging. It was not as easy as i thought it would be to run a blog while studying full time, but i got through it. Their Claim:
This was hard to get as it was written in korean. Anyways here's a little bit about what the product claims.
* No artificial ingredients or preservatives.
* Contains Scoria and green complex
* Absorbs sebum & Cleans pores

Likes: Basically everything. It's easy to apply, it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.
Dislikes: It was difficult to remove, but it wasn't necessarily that easy either. It just took a little extra washing to get it all off.

My Experience: I had purchase some facial products because to be truly honest, i've never had a skincare routine (bad, bad, i know right?).
So anyways i bought a laneige set along with some skinfood products, and in the package i received some samples, including the Jeju Volcanic Clay Mask by Innisfree. I wasn't sure what to expect with this mask since i've never tried Innisfree products before nor have i tried a volcanic clay mask. The sample package had enough to do my entire face AND my mom's face as well. It felt nice going on my face and then i washed it off after i felt the mask was dry all over (approx 15 or 20mins). When i washed it off, my face felt so nice! I really liked it. My face looked so clean and glowy-- not to mention noticeably softer. I couldn't stop touching my face and looking at myself in the mirror lol (obsess much?).

My Verdict: I was pleased with the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Clay Mask. It left my face clean, glowing and feeling softer. Although i haven't tried too much facial mask, this one is my current favourite!

Re-Purchase: Yes!

My Likes: Basically everything.
My Dislikes: well...the smell reminds me of cologne which i'm not particularly fond of.

My Experience: I first started using CHI Silk Infusion about 4 years ago after my inlaw introduced it to me and i was amazed at how wonderful this product was. After applying CHI, my hair felt so soft and silky without making it feel heavy. I always apply this product before flat ironing my hair to protect it from heat damage. This is the only product i use in my hair and i noticed my hair has become healthier and it has helped with hair breakage as well.
Now after finishing my first bottle, I couldn't find it anywhere in store (i live in the countryside *boooo*) until i found it on Folica.com where i purchased it for $14.99 USD for a 6oz bottle when i had purchased my solia tourmaline flat iron (will do a review on the flat iron soon). I bought the CHI in october, two years ago and i still have that same bottle that is just finishing. I didn't use it much in the beginning but then increase my usage when i stopped using other products in my hair. That bottle has lasted a long time eh... That's what i love about this product; it works AND a little goes a long way, so a 6oz bottle will last you quite some time.
I love this product so much that I introduced it to my mom and she's inlove with it as well--- and she loves it so much that she's also introduced it to her friends *hehehe*

My Verdict: Chi Silk Infusion is a really good product. It does what it claims. It's well worth the price.
Re-Purchase: Again and again!

Since moving to a new home, i noticed i've been having a new visitor-- a kitty cat!

Early in the morning i'd go outside and have breakfast when i have the time and one day while having breakfast i saw a neighbour's cat climbing up the patio steps-- i guess he smelt the breakfast *hehehe*

Anyways Yesterday i decided to look outside and who do i see laying on the patio furniture--- mr. kitty cat!

But not only that, but he brought a friend over! lmao

Their Claim: Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that's lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you'll feel naked without it.
Likes: Made lashes look bolder and darker (but not anymore than other mascaras)
Dislikes: Felt heavy, not waterproof, expensive

My Experience: To begin, i should mention that i already have naturally long lashes and have been using the Avon waterproof mascara before i began testing this product.
The Clinique mascara did not do anything more for me than other previously used mascaras. It felt like any other mascara i've used before except this one felt a lot heavy on my eyelashes. The consistency is a lot thicker but it did not make my lashes any longer than other mascaras. The only thing the this mascara did was make my lashes feel heavy which was really annoying and uncomfortable. What i also noticed was that if i yawn or if my eyes become watery the mascara gets in my eyes and it sortof stings/burns my eyes arghhh!
I have to say that the avon waterproof mascara i use is significantly cheaper than this; the avon mascara is about $4 verses $18 for the clinique. Really disappointing.

My Verdict: It was not worth the money for me. Too expensive and doesnt live up to its claims.
Re-purchase: No

Blog Makeover!

[[ Little Vacation… ]]

I was on vacation in Jamaica (yeah it was pretty awesome *hehehe*) so I didn’t have time to make new posts. While I was in Jamaica I didn’t get to go as many places as I would have liked to go but I did get the chance to visit the countryside there and it was just beautiful. Pics are posted at Gasai Photography.

+ As soon as I got back my sister & her family came to visit from the UK so I had my hands full. We surprised my mom on her birthday by having a surprise birthday party AND she had no idea my sister was coming on her birthday so it was really nice. She was so surprised and happy. Anyways It was tons of fun having them here with me and I’m so sad that they are gone now.

I’ve realized that I have not put much time into this blog so this week I’ll be giving it a complete makeover. I need to put a new focus on this blog so I’ll be editing previous posts and deleting unnecessary posts that are just taking up space.

The new focus of the blog will be to provide you with product reviews of makeup, hair, and skincare products for those of us with a budget. That means that I’ll review products that are affordable as I am aware that makeup can be quite pricey and who wants to pay for expensive makeup if you can get cheaper products that do the same job? So that’s basically what I’ll be doing over the next few weeks-- and months ahead.

* I’ll be adding more in-depth reviews including lots more pictures of swatches and product packaging etc.
* I’ll also be posting more often (I will try my best with this one.. but be aware that I’m a full time student so there will be days when I’ll be absent from posting on the blog).
* I’ll also like to try and post FOTD (Fotos/Face Of The Day) and with these pictures I’ll be showing makeup I’m wearing that day and how you can achieve that look. (This one might take some time to get into effect, especially because I don’t wear makeup often).
Anyways guys I hope you’ll enjoy the new makeover when it’s complete.

My Verdict: I wanted to try to wax my eyebrows so i used this product to see how well they'd remove the hair. I have to say i was VERY disappointed in this product. It barely removed any hair. Sadly this product did absolutely nothing for me. The only thing i liked about this product was the fact that it's eco friendly.
Re-purchase: I will NOT purchase this product again.

So today is my birthday and in honour of my special day ive decided to talk about ME (hehehe).

Ive compiled a list of 23 things about me you probably do not know.

1. I'm currently wearing braces! (i sure am... and now im wondering why i ever got them)

2. I love to walk around in my pajamas when i'm at home (so comfy)

3. I'm the youngest of three.. apparently i'll always be the baby according to my mom

4. I don't drink pop/soda, i hate it.

5. I prefer flats or sneakers over heels on a everyday basis (but i'll never go clubbing in sneakers, no way!)

6. I've never been drunk and don't want to ever get drunk

7. I want to be an entrepreneur one day... i rather work for myself than someone else

8. I'm only 5'3, yeah im not very tall at all

9. I live in the countryside, and even though its boring i prefer it over the big city now

10. I don't have a favourite colour or favourite food

11. I hardly wear makeup, i love to go natural

12. I love to watch Golden Girls, this show's classic

13. I'm making this list when i should be studying

14. My mom and i are really close, she's my best friend

15. I no longer own a cellphone, i gave it away because i hardly ever use one

16. I don't have Twitter... i dont plan to join twitter either

17. Sometimes i'm an insomniac (most times)

18. I always leave final assignments until the last minute.. i'm really trying to change

19. I want to learn fluent Japanese and Filipino

20. I love tea. I drink tea every single day... I just love it

21. A lot of people think im 14 or 16... i hate it but in time i'll appreciate it (when im a lot older)

22. I love blistex lip balm... i can't go a day without it

23. When i travel i always pack unnecessary things that i know i wont use but i bring "just in case"

My Verdict: I really like this mascara. It's small and cute; i can take it with me on the go. It lengthens my lashes, doesn't flake, and last a long time. Easy to wash off; just use soap and water.

My Verdict: It works and it's reasonably priced. Long lasting wear that does not feel heavy on the face (it's light and silky on the cheeks). Cute packaging; i like the size and the fact that the front of the packages is a mirror. I absolutely love this blush. It does what it's suppose to do and looks great on me. That is why it's my favourite blush so far.

Re-purchase: Yes. (I have already repurchased this product.)

I absolutely love the packaging. Small and cute compact that has a mirror top (check out my reflection *hehehe*)

This is the blush in Mysterious Mocha; such a really beautiful colour. There is also a mirror when you open the compact & it comes with a little blush brush (as seen above).

Watching "the game" for him

So yesterday i actually sat down and watched a soccer game in the name of L.O.V.E
I watched Arsenal vs. FC Porto (yesh, i took notes so i remembered the names *hehehe*)

Now im not a person to sit infront of a TV and watch any sports, it's just not me at all (although i played sports in my youngers years). Sports isnt something important to me but when you're with someone who loves the game (soccer), you learn to tolerate it the best you can. So i try to watch it every now and then but always get bored out of my mind.

Well here's what happened... My significant other is a HUGE soccer fanatic (Arsenal), and when i say HUGE, i do mean HUGE fan. Anyways he says i'm always complaining when he watches his soccer games. Well i just dont enjoy watching sports; i get no enjoyment out of watching guys run around on a field chasing a ball lol (with the exception of Zidane's head butt at the World Cup..that definately caught my attention!).
As a matter of fact, he shouldnt be complaining because ive gone on many soccer matches at the stadiums with him just because i know he loves the game, and i support him when he plays also. I do it because spending time together is what's important to me, and he's always willing to do what i want (so i'm being nice haha)

So yesterday i set my TV to the sportnet channel and actually watched the Arsenal vs FC Porto game. Arsenal actually won the game 4-0 so he's definately happy his team won and im happy for him. Now, from what i've learned, it's the UEFA Champions League and now that Arsenal won this game, it qualifies them for the quarter-finals or something like that.

I guess it wasnt all that bad... I actually enjoyed parts of the game; knowing that he gets all excited when his team scores, makes me happy too. It's kinda funny how guys act when it comes to their sports. I just sit back and take it all in... though occassionally browsing my phone at any given chance :-)

Their Claim: The Rimmel SunShimmer Shimmering Maxi Bronzer is suppose to illuminate the face and body. It's suppose to give an instant natural bronzed sun-kissed glow.

My Experience: In my personal opinion, this is a great bronzer especially for the price. It's a large sized bronzer (0.59 oz) and it's very affordable (being under $8 CAD). You get a large amount of product for a great low price. Some bronzers are much pricier and smaller, that does not deliver close to what this bronzer does. The golden shimmers are just the right amount, that leaves your face looking naturally bronzed and not over done with shimmer. I believe it comes in two shades; i use 002 (Sun Love).
Overall: Affordable product that delivers on quality. Blends easily. Light weight. Long lasting product.
Re-Purchase: Yes i would

The Good: Rich & lasting colour. Moisturizing and an easy application brush.

The Bad: I don't actually have anything bad to say about this product. I

Overall: 4/5 It's a great lip gloss with a variety of shades. It's easy to apply & leaves lips moisturized without that sticky feeling.

The Good: Rich color and high gloss shine.Comes in a variety of colours.
The Bad:It's glossy and moisturizing but a bit sticky on the lips.

While shopping i decided to pick up and try out the Wet n Wild eyeliner in white. I have never used white eyeliner before and wanted to give it a try. I decided to try this brand because it was inexpensive and it's not tested on animals.

Full Product Name: Wet n Wild kohl eyeliner: Silky smooth
Colour tested: White (656A)
The Good: Inexpensive. Easy to apply and lasted for a long time. Stayed in place and did not smudge easily.
The Bad: Require a few application to really see the liner
Overall: 3/5 because it is inexpensive and long lasting. It's not a must have product but it's worth the money
